The Card of Constellations

The northern and southern star maps for both hemispheres of Earth, accurately and precisely plotted and laser-engraved on a black stainless steel card

On the maps, all 88 official constellations defined by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) are labelled with their official abbreviations. These abbreviations are also designated by the IAU.

All 57 navigational stars (plus Polaris) are labelled in their constellations on the maps

The official names of all 88 official constellations and all 57 navigational stars (and Polaris) are listed next to the star maps

The radii (or sizes) of the stars on the star maps are proportional to their apparent magnitudes (or brightnesses), with a star magnitude scale on each side of the card for your reference

Both star maps extend a further 30° to the opposite hemisphere for presenting the equatorial constellations (while the appearances of the constellations beyond 0° on each map are considerably distorted)

Made of highly durable and corrosion resistant SUS304 stainless steel

Laser-engraved graphics, names, symbols and numbers will never fade nor wear off

With a special scratch-resistant, dirt-repellent and anti-fingerprint coating applied

Thickness is enhanced to 0.6 mm to ensure the card is highly rigid and durable

Same size as a credit card (85.5 mm x 54 mm)
