- On the maps, all 88 official constellations defined by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) are labelled with their official abbreviations. These abbreviations are also designated by the IAU.
- All 57 navigational stars (plus Polaris) are labelled in their constellations on the maps
- The official names of all 88 official constellations and all 57 navigational stars (and Polaris) are listed next to the star maps
- The radii (or sizes) of the stars on the star maps are proportional to their apparent magnitudes (or brightnesses), with a star magnitude scale on each side of the card for your reference
- Both star maps extend a further 30° to the opposite hemisphere for presenting the equatorial constellations (while the appearances of the constellations beyond 0° on each map are considerably distorted)
- Made of highly durable and corrosion resistant SUS304 stainless steel
